Sound Bowl Healing Meditations

Scientific studies demonstrate that sound produces changes in the autonomic, immune, and endocrine system. You can assist healing for yourself and others through sounds and their vibrational energy. Every organ of the body absorbs and emits sound. Every atom, molecule, and cell vibrate to sounds. The entire body as well as our brain waves vibrate at a fundamental frequency entraining us to the basic electromagnetic field of the earth.

As sound waves from the singing bowls help to move you from beta brain patterns (those of concentration, anxiety, and flight or fight) to brain waves associated with relaxation (alpha), meditation (theta), and trance like states (delta), we allow the body to do its job, heal itself.

Each week you may experience a slightly different session, combining prayer, meditation, and sound. You may bring a yoga mat or blanket, writing journal, and a water bottle.
