We will learn about and explore the deeper purposes of sharing spirit communication and doing spiritual healing, and how these effect the message and healing that is given and received. The obvious purpose for messages is to contact loved ones who have passed into the Summerland (spirit), and to learn of what it is like there, also to receive guidance in living our lives here on earth. But there are many kinds of messages given to us, and they all have a purpose. More often than not their purpose is not obvious to us at the moment and can appear puzzling. Learning how to read beyond the words of a message and apply the wisdom or advice on a higher level is very important. We will discuss how to develop this ability.

Also the root cause of physical illness is often not obvious to us when we are presented with a healing opportunity. Healing more than the body is frequently called for when giving a healing. The manifestation of a bodily problem is the tip of the iceberg and we can discern beyond the manifestation to find the real cause of the discomfort and help the individual to release the thought/feeling pattern that is the core of disease. We will share some of the most recent teachings of Yeshua ben Joseph on healing and participants will have an opportunity to practice his healing suggestions.
There are no accidents, everything has a cause and when we only look only at the effect we are limiting our spiritual progress.
Learning to discern beyond appearances is necessary if we are to truly grow in spiritual awareness, truth and serve the function we are here to fulfill.
This weekend will include lecture, discussion, demonstration of healing and opportunities for participants to experiment with different approaches to message work and healing.
Reverend Penny Donovan, D.D. is a medium since childhood, who studied under Rev. Edith Sandy Wendling. After being ordaine in 1960 at John Carlson Memorial Institute in Buffalo, NY , Penny founded Trinity Temple of the Holy Spirit Church in Albany, NY, where she served as the pastor for thirty years. In November 1994, she began the Gabriel Fellowship, to spread The Teachings of Archangel Gabriel, whom she channeled from 1987 - 1999. Don Gilbert, M.S.W. is a teacher, therapist and healer in Albany, NY. He has a private practice as a licensed clinical social worker, co-facilitates a spiritual group and weekend retreats for deep spiritual healing. Don has integrated both his spiritual training and years as a therapist. Following a miraculous recovery from brain surgery in 1998, he retired as Chairperson and professor of Criminal Justice at Hudson Valley Community College to focus on his spiritual therapeutic calling. http://www.sacredgardenfellowship.org/
